Junde World Wine and Food China Development Platform Hand in Hand with Turkey

On the morning of April 3, 2018, Junde Business Group was invited to the Turkish Consulate General in Guangzhou to introduce to Mr. Yonan, Turkish Ambassador to China, Mr. Kalinoru, Consul General in Guangzhou, and their team-Junde World Wine and Food China Development platform.

During the dialogue, Junde's representative introduced to the ambassador and consul general the market in Guangdong, Hong Kong, Macao and the Great Bay Area, the potential of Guangzhou Nansha Free Trade Zone, the services and functions of Junde Platform. Starting from supply chain logistics, foreign products were advanced to Guangzhou Nansha Bonded Logistics Center, and then Turkish wine and food were introduced to the whole Chinese market through the national platform system built by Junde, integrating culture, tourism and education sectors.

At the meeting, Yonan expressed his intention to cooperate deeply with Junde. Junde World Wine and Wine China Development Platform is not only a single commodity trade, but also a combination of tourism, culture and other diversified experiences, so that Chinese consumers can contact Turkish goods at the same time, but also further understand its history and culture. This is very helpful to promote the development of trade and culture between Turkey and China.

In the future, the embassy and the consulate general will connect more Turkish food and beverage associations and high-quality suppliers for Junde, and invite Junde to participate in a government-organized inspection team to Istanbul to introduce Junde's platform project to Turkish enterprises, so as to better help local wine and food enterprises export to the Chinese market.

During the meeting, the Minister also mentioned that 2018 is the China-Turkey Tourism Year. The Turkish National Tourism Administration will hold special promotion activities in different cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou-focusing on wine, food, art, tourism, etc. In a colorful Turkey, well-known Turkish artists were specially invited to perform special wet painting performances.

Ambassador Yonan said that Turkey is rich in agricultural resources, especially dried fruits and nuts. In recent years, its food and beverage exports have also maintained growth. Junde will bring more distinctive Turkish products and culture to Chinese consumers.

Turkey is the fourth largest grape producer in the world, and its history of producing wine even predates Old World countries such as France. In the past ten years, the local wine industry has developed rapidly, and there have been many wineries dedicated to producing high quality wines. In 2011, Turkish wines won more than 150 international awards and attracted the attention of the world wine community.
